COVID-19 Update

Updated: June 3, 2020

B.C. has been doing a tremendous job at ‘flattening the curve’ and remaining committed to taking this matter seriously. In order to keep this trend headed in the right direction, we all must remain vigilant and respect the advice of our health authority during this State of Emergency.

COVID-19 Protocols
We are ‘maintaining the course’ in terms of day-to-day operations closely, while following WorkSafe BC protocols. Most of our office staff continue to work from home, and the office will remain staffed at a bare minimum to keep risk of transmission low. The importance of frequent hand washing and physical distancing measures have been discussed in depth with an understanding from each employee through our COVID-19 daily assessment.

We have provided our technicians with a supply of hand sanitizer, sanitizing wipes and a Health Canada approved disinfecting solution. Our service technicians have access to appropriate PPE for use on all worksites. All hand tools and company shared tools undergo routine disinfecting to limit spread of the virus. Any worksite identified as having a COVID-19 exposed worker, or a worksite where a worker has self-isolated as a precaution shall be disinfected as per WorkSafe BC guidelines.

We commit that any technician attending your service location will be symptom free, have not recently been exposed to an individual who has tested positive for COVID-19 and have not traveled outside of Canada for a minimum of 14 days prior to service.

Service Requests and Estimating
We are still able to provide service and estimate requests to meet your needs. We ask that you ensure, to the best of your ability, that our technicians are not exposed to individuals that are showing any signs or symptoms of fever, cough or shortness of breath. If anything changes from the time of your request to the time of service, please call to inform us.

Our technicians are required to maintain a clean workspace. You may see them cleaning common surfaces in the work area that have frequent contact with hands including doorknobs, thermostats, etc. We ask all individuals onsite to maintain physical distancing standards with our technicians.

If your site has any hazards or additional protocols that our staff must review, please let us know ahead of time. This allows our technicians to prepare ahead and act accordingly while on site. You can also relay such information to us through e-mail ( or telephone (250-382-2161) and we will ensure this is added to your file.

Scheduled Preventative Maintenance
We are continuing to complete regularly scheduled preventative maintenance. If a maintenance is due, we have been contacting customers prior to service to ensure we have suitable access and are able to abide by the physical distancing protocol. Upon request, we will reschedule service as needed.

We are very thankful to all of our customers, and to all of our staff, for the commitment to keeping our doors open and business moving during this trying time. Please stay safe and healthy, and let us know if you have any questions.
